Today was uneventful. I woke up early to prepare breakfast for my family. I cooked their favourite tuna omelette and made them some freshly squeezed orange juice. After breakfast, I cleaned the kitchen a bit before heading to the guestroom a.k.a my makeshift office. I checked my emails and done my daily site visits.
I had been having problems with my internet connections lately and I was expecting a technician to come over to check my laptop, wirings and signal at my house. Unfortunately, he was almost 3 hours late. His excuse was car trouble. Anyways, the findings were good, however it may just be a coincidence that the connection wasn’t intermittent because it always was for the past month.
After the technician left, I took a nap. I did some gardening to kill some time but the heat was scorching that I had to go back inside. I proceeded to reading my current book selection, Dead after Dark. This novel is a copycat of Twilight but is so much better in my opinion. While it is still a love story, there are inserts of mystery, adventure and suspense in the plot.
When I got tired of reading, I went online again and played some games to distract myself. Yes, I am such a bore. This is my typical day.

I am currently obsessed with contact lenses. I don’t wear glasses and I have a 20-20 vision. But I do want to spice up my look every once in a while.
I have natural dark brown eyes and I sometimes envy those who have hazel, green, gray or blue eyes. I’ve always known about colored contact lenses but I was too afraid to try them on. Though my friends and my optometrist had said that they won’t cause that much discomfort, it took me a year of evaluating and contemplating about it before I finally got around buying my first pair.
There are actually two kinds of contact lenses: soft and rigid gas permeable contacts. Soft contacts are made of really flexible plastic that is made of water. With soft lenses, it is advisable that you choose disposable ones for they can get dirty over time. RGP contacts are a bit uncomfortable when first worn but they are more durable that soft contact lenses and can be worn as extended wear. This means that they can be worn up to a year and while sleeping.
The first pair I bought was soft disposable lenses in shade of gray. It really made my eyes light up and I love it! I have numerous pairs in various colors now. Try one now.

A perfectly healthy skin is has this beautiful shiny glow. Also, it is smooth and soft to the touch. However, when the skin is not properly taken cared of, it can get dry, flaky and uneven.
Our skin should always be cleaned and moisturized daily. One can use body lotion and oils. To perfectly maintain that healthy glow, you should exfoliate your skin twice a week using a body scrub. You can either buy a scrub from various beauty stores or if you can afford it, you can get yourself scrubbed at a spa.
If you want to save money, you can try making your own body scrub too. You can use the natural ingredients found in your own kitchen. You can try either the mixture of sugar and honey, used coffee grounds and olive oil, or salt and wet soapy skin. When applying these homemade scrubs into your skin, make sure to massage in a circular motion. Don’t massage it too firmly for it may scratch you instead.
Exfoliating your skin eliminates dead skin cells making your skin finer, smoother and softer. This also encourages proper blood circulation in the areas reducing cellulite formation in your thighs, buttocks, and legs.
